Don't Shrink (“the App”) is a food log and reminder tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition, including eating disorders.
Health data on your device
Your pantry, daily logs, weight, height, targets, pairing rules, and awards stay on your device. We do not require an account. Calories, food names, and macros are not uploaded to Don't Shrink servers.
Lookups
If you scan a barcode or search a product name, the App sends only that code or typed name to food catalogs (for example Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central) so macros can be filled. Those services have their own privacy policies. You can skip lookup and enter numbers by hand.
Notifications
Afternoon and evening reminders are scheduled on the device. They are optional and never fire overnight.
Support messages
If you contact us through dontshrink.app/support, we receive the information you submit (such as email and message content) so we can respond.
This website
The marketing site is static. We do not run ads. Standard hosting logs (for example IP addresses on the CDN) may exist for security and uptime.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. Do not submit personal information belonging to children through support channels.
